Can a subproject show by itself on the Project Status View?

We are just starting to used the project status view and noticed that only parent projects show up.  We would like for subprojects to be able to show by themselves as well.  Is there a way to configure the tool to allow this?

Thank you,

Hey Sarah,

If we are talking about the same thing, you'll need to update the filter on the Project Status Portal page. The OOTB filter is Parent is empty (therefore not a sub-project) and the project is active. If you click on the blue filter icon (see image below) and take out the "Parent is empty" condition, the sub-projects that are active will appear.

Hopefully that helps!

Thank you for your response.  I think we are talking about the same area but I do not see the blue filter icon.  The project I have highlighted in red has at least 4 subprojects and of those I really want to be able to view the two highlighted by themselves:

Is the filter a particular security access or background setup?

Thank you,

Hey Sarah,

Sorry for the delay in responding to this! I wanted to verify in my personal instance, which meant getting a Kingston one and upgrading to London. The short answer to this is yes, it can be done pretty quickly assuming you have the right access.

If you click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the banner you should be able to adjust the filter:

Once you've clicked that, it will open a window like this:

This is where you can adjust the criteria for the views. Most likely there is a condition that says "Parent is Empty" which you'll need to remove.

Hope this helps!!
