I have a newly created ServiceNow Manager/Developer position on my team here in Dallas (No Travel). If you are a sharp admin/developer waiting for an opportunity to move up to the next level I would love to talk to you. We're in serious need of hiring someone that can wrestle SN into submission and get projects done and features enabled. We will be working with SN in the coming months to build out the HR application as well as Custom Development apps for another two teams.

ServiceNow Manager
The ServiceNow Manager is responsible for developing the ServiceNow platform to assist in the efficient management of issues & requests and to provide leadership the ability to quickly measure performance across the enterprise.
About ServiceNow at UT Southwestern
Current modules in use are Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, ESS, CMDB, and will soon be implementing HR and Custom Development modules. Many opportunities exist to implement and enhance additional functionality such as SLA's, surveys, dashboards, metrics, visual task boards, etc.
Duties include
- Hands on development of ServiceNow applications
- Manage two junior level ServiceNow administrators
- Meet with process owners & translate their processes into ServiceNow workflows
- Development of reports and dash-boards
- Automate data imports/exports to other systems
- ServiceNow scripting as needed
- Maintain/develop Integrations with 3rd Party software (we currently integrate with LDAP and ServiceGrid)
- Facilitating roll out of new applications and modules
- Implement software development life cycle for ServiceNow changes at UTSW
Prefered experience/skills:
- ServiceNow System Admin certification preferred
- ServiceNow development and configuration experience
- Strong working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with java script in ServiceNow as well as XML & HTML
- Experience with standard web services such as SOAP & REST
- ITIL v3 Foundations certified preferred
- 3 plus years hands-on experience managing ServiceNow & Service Management processes
- Project management & development lifecycle skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Business requirements analysis skills
