I would like to see a Technical Expert Jam Session on Jason Petty's File Builder FTP share app.     ServiceNow Share

I believe that tearing into the technical details of this app would be hugely beneficial to many wanting to know more about taking advantage of the ECC queue to achieve complex requirements.

Also, It would be beneficial if the meeting location could be somewhere more centrally located, as ServiceNow's Plano HQ building is ~1.5 hours from my home.

We might be able to get Jason Petty to go through this via Webex.     Q & A would be hugely beneficial at the end of such a presentation.

Yes, this is a good format idea for a new session we could offer as a community!

We could call it "Deconstructed Dev Jam Session" or something and spotlight a certain app from Share or the store and all meet via WebEx to have the creator go through it with us and how it works and what else these things could be modified to do.

In this case, Jason Petty would plug his app but also show us the ECC Queue and how to send and receive custom commands and payloads through it.

Joshua Addington or Daniel Cooper could you see if something like this would be possible for us to put on?   If we have enough interest in making this a quarterly thing like the SNUG and TechNow's, maybe we'll get Jason Petty to do the inaugural one!   This doesn't even have to be limited to just North Texas, we could get other regions and SNUGs involved since it's web-based and can offer a saved recording of it on-demand (YouTube) for people in other timezones or future reference.   That way if only 2-3 of us here in North Texas are interested, maybe there would be a dozen or more interested people across the nation.

Check the events feed, we are scheduling this requested TechNow event for 9/30 and it will be hosted by our friends at GM Financial! We can have up to 40 attendees in person but will also open it up for WebEx remote attendees. Remember to mark if you are attending so that we can make sure we have enough food and drink! Cool, so Trey and GMF are hosting this.   The next TechNow will cover the setup/config of Asset/Procurement/SAM and Licensing and how it gets used day-to-day, like we had chosen in the poll?   That's the one I'm excited about cause we need to start tracking consumables and individual software licenses better and I don't know where to start with grouping all the Discovery Models, Software Models, Applications, Licenses, Contracts, etc.

Yes, depending on the content I can pull together we may be including Asset/SAM in this same session.
