I would like to see a Technical Expert Jam Session on Jason Petty's File Builder FTP share app.     ServiceNow Share

I believe that tearing into the technical details of this app would be hugely beneficial to many wanting to know more about taking advantage of the ECC queue to achieve complex requirements.

Also, It would be beneficial if the meeting location could be somewhere more centrally located, as ServiceNow's Plano HQ building is ~1.5 hours from my home.

We might be able to get Jason Petty to go through this via Webex.     Q & A would be hugely beneficial at the end of such a presentation.

This looks like a great idea for one of our next sessions! I will reach out to Jason and see if he is able to help. Give me a couple of days and I'll get back with the group.

Trey Carroll any chance GMF could host the session?

Thanks!

Hi Josh,

I actually asked about this. Apparently, our largest meeting space will only hold 80 people.   So it wouldn't house the normal numbers we see at a SNUG.     Since this meeting is going to be technical in nature, I'm thinking that it might work, however.     I will follow up with our leadership and give you and update as soon as I know something.

Regards,

Absolutely, this would be a TechNow session with a much smaller audience - admin/developers only.

Yes, TechNows are smaller since they're just for admin/devs.   But for these we don't even need to do these in person or instead of a TechNow, I was thinking keeping the face-to-face (and happy hour) TechNows but also doing an app spotlight deconstructed webex/podcast thing at a different time with the whole South US or whoever wants to join in

The new TechBytes podcast is about the apps and the store, but its only audio and doesn't do a dive into the guts of how the app works or what else we could do with something similar 😞
