Two Instances of ServiceNow

My company uses a third party for some of its IT needs and they use ServiceNow.  If we get our own instance of ServiceNow, will the two be able to talk to each other?  Would we be able to assign tickets to each other across instances?

@Lonestar5055 You can plan to integrate the two instances by using REST API integration. Using this integration one instance can act as a producer instance and other can act as a consumer instance and ticket can be assigned across the instances using the REST API.  However, in order to make this integration work, you will have to ensure your foundation data (sys_user, company, location) is also same across these instances.
