We are fully licensed for PA Premium for Service Management. We have a baseline (or, OOTB) Dashboard in PROD called Incident Premium. We are on Utah release (Patch 8).
There are two tabs in this Dashboard that show a date at the top. These are the "Process by State" and "Process by Age" tabs.
MAIN ISSUE(s):
- The date on these tabs is stuck on Sep 04, 2023--it never progresses past this date on its own.
- We can click the date selector, but all dates after Sep 04 2023 are not selectable.
- The "Real-time" option at the bottom of the date selector is selectable, and when we click it, the Dashboard shows "real-time" data.
MAIN QUESTION(s):
- Why is it stuck on this date?
- How can we make this date advance to "today" (or whatever the closest available date possible is) every time it's opened, by any user?
Note: Doesn't matter who's looking at the dashboard (i.e., roles aren't a factor). It's always stuck on Sep 04 for all users who can view it.
Please advise; thank you!

Hi @apjohn2 ,
Have you verified the associated job(s) that should collect data for the dashboard? If the jobs is not active, then no data will be collected and date will not progress. If the job(s) is activated, then date will progress no matter who look at the dashboard.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as accepted solution and give a thumb up.
Best regards
Anders

Hi @apjohn2
"The date on these tabs is stuck on Sep 04, 2023--it never progresses past this date on its own."
Normally, there're 2 jobs which are associated to the Indicators.
1. Historical Data Collection (Always inactive, run on demand)
2. Automate Data Collection (Daily/Weekly/Monthly schedule)
If you want to see historical data, you can execute the Historical Data Collection job.
I've also checked the Incident Premium dashboard and I can see the Indicators linked to this Historical Job.
Name: [PA Incident] Historic Data Collection
URL: https://<instance_name>/sysauto_pa.do?sys_id=91d861c3d7131100b96d45a3ce610340
"We can click the date selector, but all dates after Sep 04 2023 are not selectable."
PA Indicators showcase scores collected as daily, weekly, or monthly snapshots. Typically, the job runs at midnight to collect data from the previous days. If you find that you cannot view data for a specific day after the data collection job has executed, there might be an issue during the collection process that needs investigation.
"The "Real-time" option at the bottom of the date selector is selectable, and when we click it, the Dashboard shows "real-time" data."
The Real-time option at the bottom of the date selector is active, and selecting it displays the dashboard with up-to-date data. However, it's important to note that even though the real-time option is available, the data is collected only when the job executes. The collected scores are stored in the Score Level 1 [pa_scores_l1] and Score Level 2 [pa_scores_l2] tables."
Cheers,
Tai Vu

Thank you @AndersBGS and @Tai Vu . We have an internal team member whose wearing the PA Admin hat and learning the ropes. He's going to take your advice and see what he can figure out. I'll mark one of your answers as the solution if he's successful. 🙂
