OnChange - The results are not displayed as expected

I am New to ServiceNow and working on some basic functions: Here is something i tried from my personal ID and function is not working as expected, basic and looks fine. However is not working. Can some help me where i am going wrong?  . The related code:

Try 1 without the quotation marks.  The value is really an integer.
