Are you looking to get more involved in the SNUG Program? The timing could not be better as we look to reinvigorate the Sacramento SNUG ! We are looking for one or more customers to be the new SNUG Leader(s) for Sacramento! We are planning the next SNUG event to take place in the next month or two so it's the perfect time to get involved!
SNUG Leaders must be employed by a ServiceNow customer and not employed by a ServiceNow partner.
Here is a snapshot of the role of the SNUG Leader:
- Participate in planning calls to ensure events are aligned to the needs of the SNUG community including dates, venues and topics
- Help identify customer speakers
- For in-person events, assist in getting hosts, and venue locations
- Gather broader feedback on the needs of the group
- Emcee at meetings if possible
- Provide program feedback and ideas
- Promote online community involvement by posting questions and blogs to encourage an on-going dialog with community members
- The time commitment is roughly 1-2 hours/year for event planning and 6-8 hours attending the event if possible!
The ServiceNow team manages:
- Invitations and registrations
- Meeting planning and coordination
- Venue and catering costs (in-person events)
SNUG Leaders play the important role of helping us ensure that members get the most value from attending SNUG meetings and to keep the conversation going by participating in the on-line SNUG community. The planning and execution of the event is managed by ServiceNow.
SNUG Leaders play an elevated role within the community and receive special recognition at SNUG meetings, on-line, and at Knowledge. I have attached the Customer Participation guide as reference that explains the role further along with best practices for SNUG Leaders.

I would love to lead this group. City of Sacramento has been a customer since 2019 (ITSM, IRM). We recently participated in another SNUG and found it to be highly beneficial. This is a great way to share ideas and grow the platform so I would love to get more involved. Let's touch base and go from there. Thank you!
