How set a reopened VIT in Defer state if they previously closed in a deferral state?

We have a business requirement to set reopened VIT's in a Defer state if they were previously closed in a deferred state. The business is expecting these VIT's to remain differed when they reopen until the deferral end date. 

 

What is the best way to accomplish this? Would it be through exception rules?

Hi @14Hernan ,

 

I haven’t come across this kind of requirement before. You can try making the ‘Until Date’ field non-mandatory and see how the flow behaves.
