Just to make sure, I've contacted ServiceNow Support, and they officially confirmed that once SNC Control Access Plugin gets enabled on the instance, there is no way to roll it back or disable, it is going to be there permanently!

Admins can however add a record with *.* (double asterisk) in the SNC accesses table itself as user name, to allow all servicenow users to by pass this security measure by default. So technically, there is no way to disable the plugin, but practiacally with asterisk we can neutralize it.

Is what allowed to disable SNC Access Control Plugin? What you have in the body seems to be the plugin name itself. Out of the box the only role who has access to the SNC Access Control table is admin.

When browsing the Plugins Center, the SN Access Control Plugin is never in the list,  even if it is installed and active in the instance. I'm asking is has anyone attempted to uninstall that plugin, whether it requires removal of all application objects, or raising a Change Request at ServiceNow Support Portal. The reason, I am asking, is that some plugins once installed are not reversible. I am just wondering if SNC Access Contol Plugin is in the same basked. The body contains the name of plugin, as the header already encapsulates the idea behind.

The Plugin is install via a request in Now Support. I'm note sure if there is a way to deactivate it but I think when you create a case you can tell it to automatically give access. You may have to reach out to now support to see if there is a way to deactivate it.
