Prep/Exams for Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS – VR)

Hello all!

Hope you are good!

I’m going to take the VR certification next week and I would like to ask for advice.

I have about half a year in VR but OOTB functionalities only.

I watched the course on SN university (taken notes, did the labs and so on) , but I still feel unprepared.

If someone took this certification, can you please advise what helps with preparing? Also up to date mock exams would be great also! 🙂

I recommend relying on the fundamental course available on ServiceNow University.

Go through it carefully—line by line and word by word—and try to relate each concept to your project's use cases.

For time management and exam preparation, if you want to practice mock exams, you can use platforms like Udemy or Quizlet. However, make sure you validate every answer using the knowledge you've gained from the course before selecting the correct option.

Please go through the CIS - VR related courses on ServiceNow University multiple times to build a strong understanding.
Practice every topic in your Personal Developer Instance (PDI) or the hands-on labs provided with the course.
Solve practice papers and quizzes from platforms such as Udemy and Quizlet to familiarize yourself with the exam question patterns and improve your understanding. Please study all courses of exam regular basis.

Follow the exam blueprint and prioritize the course topics based on their weightage. Focus primarily on the areas that carry the highest percentage in the exam.
