Remediation Target date for Vulnerable items are not getting calculated

Remediation Target date for Vulnerable items are not getting calculated. When vul item is recalculated via Vulnerable calculator, then post recalculations remediation target is not getting updated (Ideally it should).
Anyone faced similar challenge ?

If I'm reading this correctly, you're essentially saying that when a VIT is rediscovered/re-opened, it is not recalculating the remediation target date, is that correct?
If so, we have this issue, too. Because this date does not get updated when a VIT is re-opened, it erroneously shows many of our machines as out of compliance with security standards (based on our organization's policies). I originally asked this in this thread "VIT Reopened when new VIT should be created".
If this is the issue you are experiencing, too, I will post back once I have a solution. We have not prioritized resolving this (probably via some customization) but it is slowly becoming a problem as we rely on remediation target dates to communicate security compliance status with our user base.
