Hi all, Our client is mentioning that they think remediation tasks are being duplicated following a request for a False Positive (FP) for example.
We have a task rule that groups on/ by
1. Preferred solution
2. Assignment group
When the user requests approval for a FP, instead of updating that record it seems to create a new Remediation task with the same contents. Under which conditions would this take place?
Similarly, I saw another case where they mentioned same but this time I could see differences.
There were two records with the same solution and assignment group. On face value they were duplicates but the number of VITs for the first record was 90 and the second 60.
They tried to defer the record and the system seem to create a second record albeit with less VITs attached.
Is this correct behaviour? Can someone explain this further?
