I need help if there is a solution to this scenario below.
When Vulnerable Items under a Remediation Task are reassigned to a different assignment group manually, it should then create or move it to another Remediation Task.
E.g.,
If Remediation Task assigned to Group A has 7 Vulnerable Items under it, and when 2 of the VITs are reassigned to Group B, it should then be moved out of the Remediation Task (Group A) and reassign it to a new/existing Remediation Task assigned to Group B automatically.
Any assistance will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I believe the correct process would be to first move the 2 VIT records to a new Remediation Task using the Split Task functionality, then reassign the new Remediation Task to the correct assignment group, which would automatically reassign the 2 VIT records.
Perhaps end-user education would help. We have the same issue often, with remediation owners reassigning VIT level records without first moving them to new tasks, not realizing that doesn't trigger any action or remove their accountability.
