Dynatrace Alerts not received on the Service Maps

Hello Community, 

We have mapped AWS application using tag-based  service mapping . One observation we had is the alerts which are visible in the Dynatrace console are not received on the same CI in the service mapping.

Would like to understand if there are any rules/configurations which needs to be done to ensure the alerts received in Dynatrace are also observed in the mapping.

Hi @VidyanathCh 

Are you using the Service Graph Connector for Dynatrace to populate hosts and other AWS cloud data into CMDB? This ensures that Dynatrace alerts are correctly mapped to the corresponding CIs.

 

Additionally, check if the property sn_dynatrace_integ.events_for_unmatched_ci.enabled is set to true—this allows ingestion of alerts even when no matching CI exists in CMDB.
