Create an announcement on the portal using html

Hi,

On the portal, I am trying to create the announcement using html. I have noticed a field called Details is present where you can type with better formatting ut it does not appear on the portal.

Does anyone know how this can be displayed on the portal?

Hi Riaz,

I am not sure what you want to do? Announcements are like this:

The details seem to have to do with a link if you provide any. Although I do not see any Details that support html on the form by default.

You can create your own Display style, however, options there are limited as well:

Hi Willem,

I want it to display in html format so it is just not lines of text. I want to add some lines and bold for example.

I would also like to know what the Details field is for.

I am afraid that is not possible. As per community post:

Ok thanks, yep I read that threat, it was old so I thought ServiceNow may have updated that functionality.
