Hi all!
As visible in the attached screenshot, certain field labels (in connection with "department") contain unwanted special characters in their names. However, if I check the field labels themselves in the "Filed Labels" Table, they do not contain these extra characters. It seems that these artifacts are only visible when using a filter and searching for fields.
Any idea, why this might happen?
Many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @SzTamas ,
This will only happen because of the same settings available within dictionary of that attribute.
Navigate to "Dictionary" module and search for Column Label contains "Responsible Department&#" what is seen in your screenshot.
Open the dictionary record and check there and correct it have this rectified.

Hi shloke04,
thanks for looking into this issue.
The truth is that no such entry exists under "Dictionary" or "Field Labels" module - see screenshots.
This artifact is only visible at the filter and if you select it, it actually works as intended and reverts back to the "normal" value - see screenshot.
Thanks in advance for any further hints.

Hi @SzTamas ,
Ohh okay. Looks strange to me. Would suggest to try below in one of your lower prod (non-prod) environments.
1. Navigate to the table "Storage column aliases" - https://instance.service-now.com/sys_storage_alias_list.do?sysparm_clear_stack=true
2. Check that label with garbage value in both the columns "element" and "storage alias" within the table mentioned in step 1.
3. If present , try checking for that element how many different alias are available. Try deleting the unwanted one with garbage selection.
If the above does not work, best is to reach out to HI support for these kind of issues.

Shloke

Hi again shloke04,
thanks for the hint.
No garbage values have been found under "Storage column Aliases".
HI support it is then.
Wishing you a nice day!
