Hi Team,

I want to restrict the Self-Service Application menu and all its Module from a role. The role has been assigned to the third party users.

Any help or documents will be helpful.

Thanks,

Sanjeev

Hi Allen,

This looks like a helpful solution when there are lot of roles that needs to be added under "Restrict access to the specified roles."

Trying to understand the code how it is done.

Thanks,

Sanjeev

Hi,

Unfortunately, while it may seem "massive" in terms of who to restrict it to, because you're wanting to do the same thing, that seems like one of the best ways.

As you can see by other people who have responded here, they aren't reading fully what you're asking for and giving the generic answer of "use the role section within the application", but as you know that's not feasible for an instance that has MANY roles in existence.

Michael Ritchie, who made the correct answer post on the link I posted is awesome and is very active on these forums (even still today, when that was posted like 4 years ago)...so feel free to reach out in that thread for further assistance, I was just merely guiding you to a possible solution.

Thanks!

Hi Sanjeev,

As far as I have seen, You will able to control the visibility of Application menu and its module menu, via setting the "Roles" on the application menu.

This will be straight forward as shown in the below screenshot.

I hope this answers your query. If yes, please mark it as correct answer, else get back with your queries.

Have a great day!

Thanks,
