UTAH: Relationship Changes activity messages display differently in Agent Workspace

Hi, After upgrading to Utah users who were testing Incident records noticed the Relationship Change activity messages displayed differently in standard UI vs Agent Work Space.

 

When removing data from a reference field and then saving, a relationship change message is posted to the activity section. In our case a client ID field triggers this activitiy and in Default view of the incident it will display the table and the field value that was removed: "Paychex Clients 69-6969 removed"

 

In Agent workspace the activity message for the incident looks very different:

"M2m Paychex Clients Tasks Created 2023-03-30 14:29:04 removed from 'u_m2m_paychex_clients_tasks' table"

 

I realize this may be hard to reproduce. Just wondered if anyone else was seeing similar activity/knows why.

Response from Case:

"Workspace is a different application. While in some cases we strive for feature parity, it is not mandated that every detail be the same. In this case, this was the message chosen by the designers".

These messages are hard-coded on ServiceNow side so there's no way to actual configure this message.
