For the past 5 months, I have been engaged in translating, not only the Service Portal, but the entire ITIL back end of the ServiceNow platform into Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. During this time, I have made a number of discoveries about how to get customizations translated.
This document is a living white paper where I have captured much of these lessons learned. Some of this information was obtained via conversations with HI Support. Other parts gleaned from questions posted in these forums. Yet others were found by digging on my own.
I hope this finds its way into the hands of those individuals who are about to, or are in the process of, embark upon a similar endeavor.
