Bonjour Community,
With great power comes great responsibility. (ServiceNow Admin Rights)
When we have admin rights we have the access to execute the Background Scripts and they can be really helpful in modifying or creating bulk records but they can mess up big time. So, we have to mindful of what we are running and should test first in lower instances and then in production.
Here is a video which introduces background scripts and other options present in it with a simple example. I hope it will be useful to everyone.

It might be worth to mention Arnoud's SNUtils (https://www.arnoudkooi.com/). With his Browser extension (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) the background script turns into a small version of Visual Studio Code among other very great benefits.
