If I go into any built in list in ServiceNow (ITSM), such as the Incident view, I can have "quick filters" at the top of each column where I can search quickly against the list. Like, below the column header, the dark grey bar with search boxes below each header (see screenshot in this link: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/learn/learning-plans/washingtondc/new_to_servicenow/app_st...).
However, if I build a custom report and add it to a dashboard, I can't seem to find a way to add those quick filters?
Example - I have a custom report that is the standard list style, which I added to a dashboard page. It has 1000+ results. Due to limitations built into ServiceNow, I can only show 100 entries per page. I need to be able to filter against that custom report quickly to find individual or groups of common entries, like assignee or owner. I've tried searching the KB documents for ServiceNow but I don't know what that quick search bar is officially called? I don't see an option to add it in my dashboard or report that I can see?

Hi @RC2 ,
Why don't you try interactive filters

I'm a basic user and interactive filters are not possible in my environment. I see them there, but they are only pre-existing ones for other teams and they don't work for our custom tables. And because I'm not an admin, I can't create my own or edit existing ones.

Hi @RC2 ,
Submit a request to your admin team to configure one and ask them provide access to basic users (snc_internal) users

The product documentation for Interactive Filters says you have to be an admin, which I am not. https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-now-intelligence/page/use/dashboards/reference/r_Cus...
