Is a Knowledge Article view count increased when an article is used in a Now Assist summarization?

From my understanding, the answer is No, count doesnt increase.

No, a knowledge article's view count does not increase when it is used in a Now Assist summarization, as this action is not considered a traditional "view" of the article. While Now Assist identifies and lists the articles used for summarization, these articles are not directly viewed by a user in a way that triggers the standard view count increment. The view count typically increments when a user opens and reads the article directly.

Would you have any other suggestions when determining "dead" article content for self-service users when consuming Now Assist? Have leveraged view count for knowledge governance traditionally.
