ServiceNow Administrator

Position Summary:
Stratix is embarking on a project to implement ServiceNow to manage workflows across the organization and is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator. The ServiceNow Administrator will be accountable for being the subject matter expert for the ServiceNow application. This will include behind-the-scenes development, administration and maintenance of all the functions of ServiceNow across the Enterprise. This includes maintaining both a development, production and test database and working closely cross-functionally with other teams at Stratix who rely on ServiceNow.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- As part of the implementation team, design, build, implement and support the ServiceNow solution for organization
- Configure and develop custom applications in the ServiceNow system, including creating workflow
- Analyzes system requirements and help leads design and development activities
- Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology
- Assumes ownership and accountability of specific modules within an application, develop, provide technical support and guidance during the project's life cycle
- Provide problem resolution for critical/complex issues
- Ensure that documentation related to specific modules/applications is correct and up to date
- Maintain quality in the solutions delivered
- Communicate effectively/appropriately with internal and external parties
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
- 5+ years experience with ServiceNow
- Minimum Certification - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Experience in the implementation, administration, maintenance, and enhancement of ServiceNow
- Experience with ServiceNow SPM and ITSM modules
- Ability to manage small projects.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
- Ability to work efficiently with the different groups remotely and locally
- Intellectually curious; seeks out opportunities to expand knowledge and funnel that knowledge into continuous process improvement activity
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to sift through complex data
- Able to meet assignment deliverables and deadlines while working on multiple concurrent tasks
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively within a team environment as well as with a positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
