JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVICENOW Lead Business Process Consultant

 

CoreSphere is seeking a Lead Business Process Consultant with ServiceNow implementation experience, certifications and competencies and agile certifications and experience to serve as the lead BPC implementing ServiceNow solution in the cloud for a large state organization.   The position requires experience and expertise in successfully managing other IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Financial Service Management applications and requires full project lifecycle experience including project initiation, planning, design, development, testing, training, deployment and post-production support of ServiceNow projects. Once implemented, the Lead BPC will also be responsible for leading the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and enhancements to the solution using ITIL, agile, and scrum.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage customer expectations and ensure the tasks are estimated and performed on-time and on-budget with high-levels of customer satisfaction and qualityServe as the lead for all business-process-related activities from planning and estimating work Ensure appropriate collaboration, coordination, and communication between the client SMEs both on this contract and other parallel efforts where necessary Manage activities and resources to a project plan utilizing the appropriate tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Project Professional and potentially other agile tools like Jira)Lead and support project objectives, build project requirements, and manage the constraints of the project including but not limited to: cost, scope, schedule, and qualityManage risks and issues; be proactive and communicate effectivelyEnsure work is performed compliant with client and contractual policies and processesSupport oral and written data calls

 

  • Attend various program meetings with the Customer and Management as needed
  • Prepare, coordinate and support the deliver Monthly Performance Reports
  • Support the completion of project change requests
  • Communicate clearly, effectively, on time, and to the correct audience
  • Understand and manage to the Critical Path for successful project delivery
  • Apply ITIL V3 best practices for managing work under the task order
  • Lead business process analysis efforts from data gathering, requirements analysis, demonstrations, workshops, interviews, documenting meeting results, proposing design options and recommendations, documenting functional design specifications, working with technical developers/administrators, testing solutions, training, preparing for Go Live and proving post-production support
  • Support the Project Manager

 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, preferred
  • Experience with ITSM process modeling, workshops, requirement definition, story documentation, client management and helps guide client into solutions that can optimally address the ServiceNow application.
  • Expert in ServiceNow ITSM functionality; has implementation or O&M experience. Has the vision to solution and manages the solution.
  • The individual must be an experienced implementer and understand the capabilities of ServiceNow from applications to platform and support and/ or debate how to best design, configure, test, accept and maintain the solutions.
  • Successful and proven track record implementing ServiceNow ITSM applications and other ServiceNow applications
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience leading and performing Business Analyst work
  • Deep understanding of both waterfall and agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management methodologies, techniques and tools
  • Working knowledge and experience with ITSM processes
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certified
  • Experience Writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience with training and creating training documentation
  • Experience with testing

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business management, project management, financial management, computer science, or related field
  • ServiceNow System Administrator (or other ServiceNow) certification
  • Experience implementing and transitioning organizations from on premise ITSM solutions (i.e. Remedy) to other SaaS solutions
  • Experience with other ServiceNow applications such as IT Operations Management, Business Service Management, Financial Service ManagementProfessional Requirements:
