JOB SUMMARY
The Consulting ServiceNow Solution Architect will provide portfolio-level strategic architectural oversight for the design, development, modification, and implementation of mid- and long-term solutions within the ServiceNow platform to solve the most complex business and technical issues, making high-level design choices and recommending solutions that align architecture to strategic plans. The position will work closely with business stakeholders, clients, and IT teams to build a holistic view of the organization’s strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets, using this knowledge to ensure that the ServiceNow platform supports an efficient and secure IT environment that meets the company’s needs.
The Consulting ServiceNow Solution Architect is recognized as an expert within the organization. They will interact and collaborate with users from supported hospitals, representatives from the HCA division service desks and shared service centers, vendor representatives and other HCA corporate departments to ensure expected value is realized. The position is responsible for anticipating challenges, leading innovation, and solving unique and complex problems that have a broad effect on the business.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides expertise and leadership in ServiceNow platform and integration design to meet business requirements.

Designs and develops ServiceNow technical solutions, including integrations with external systems.

Maintains overall ServiceNow architecture and ServiceNow instance governance documentation including best practices/standards for coding, instance management and upgrades.

Analyzes the current business, clinical and technology environments to detect deficiencies and recommends ServiceNow solutions for the improved uses of information technology.

Collaborates effectively with other ServiceNow team members, end users, clients and administrators to develop solutions and address general updates and configuration changes/requests.

Mentors and drives ServiceNow developers in determining effective governance model and most efficient solution delivery processes.

Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Maintains expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.

Evaluates new features in ServiceNow releases and builds business cases around the suitability/applicability with the current environment.

Directs solution architecture effort in terms of quality, timeliness, and compliance with requirements and expectations, assuring with minimal or no disruption to IT operations

Educates use of approved methodologies, process, and toolsets defined within the architecture and planning group

Participates in ongoing production support

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
OTHER/SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ServiceNow Certified (preferably ServiceNow Implementation Specialist)

Practical experience of setting up ServiceNow API’s and MID servers
-
Practical experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc.) and relational databases

Practical experience in end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow integration with other third party systems (BMC Remedy, Solar Winds, Footprints, Managed Engine, Jira etc.)

Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and policies for managing information technology infrastructure, development, and operations

Experience designing and implementing enterprise software applications

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, including the ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels of the enterprise in a cooperative and effective manner

Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills to consistently achieve “win-win” results

Proven organizational skills
