I’m reaching out to inquire about job opportunities for freshers in the IT sector, particularly for those who have obtained the Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certificates.

1. How valuable are these certifications for securing a fresher position within ServiceNow or other software companies?
2. What additional skills should freshers focus on to enhance their employability in this field?

@AmaravadiSiddhu There are ample positions available for freshers given you have the hands on experience on the PDI and right certifications. CAD and CSA certification do add value to your profile as companies do not want to bear the expenses related to training and they would like to hire a resource who is productive from day one.

The job openings is mainly depend on the region you are in. As i saw there are very very few openings in the USA for freshers or just trained resources.

1. How valuable are these certifications for securing a fresher position within ServiceNow or other software companies?

Atul: As per me, these are just tick marks nothing else, without hands-on experience, certs have very little value.

1. What additional skills should freshers focus on to enhance their employability in this field?

Atul: Brush up skills on scripting , learn ITSM and advance modules like GRC / SecOps/ ITAM
