I am an experienced full-stack developer who has recently earned both the CSA and CAD certifications, and am now transitioning into a ServiceNow Developer role. Despite my qualifications, I’ve had limited success finding ServiceNow positions through career websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, etc.. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance on how to successfully enter the ServiceNow field. Thank you.

@EmilyHLam_01 A simple Google search for ServiceNow jobs in US yielded hundreds of results. Though not all of them may be relevant for you (depending up on location/experience etc.) but this will give a slight idea on the companies looking for a ServiceNow developer. Prepare a list of such companies and apply for a ServiceNow position using their careers page/job portal.
Apart from ServiceNow developer, look for ServiceNow administrator roles too, once you have sufficient experience you can switch to ServiceNow dev role easily.

CSA and CAD did not guarantee for jobs, these certs just help to get your cv shortlisted but the market is looking for more. Like do you have experience in other products like ITSM / ITAM/ GRC etc, try to learn more products that will help you to get job.

Hi @EmilyHLam_01 ,
To get a job without experience in ServiceNow can be hard and only qualifications doesn't mean you will get through.
Things you should do:
- Keep learning the platform and take micro-certifications to expand your knowledge
- Expanding network and participate in various ServiceNow events as possible.
- Apply, apply and apply - as many jobs
If my response has resolved your query, please consider giving it a thumbs up and marking it as the correct answer!
Thanks & Regards,
Sanjay Kumar
