So Strategic Portfolio Management is what IT Service Management (ITSM) subscribers will use for management of all projects? Customer Project Management is only for Customer Service Management (CSM) subscribers?

Hi Rajesh,
Can you please tell me how the customers see their projects on the CSM or PSDS Portal? I have not been able to find any documentation on how to update the portal to include view/update their projects from the portal.
Thanks,
Stacy

Yes, customers can view their projects on the CSM or PSDS portal in ServiceNow. Here's how:
- Log in to the ServiceNow instance and navigate to the Customer Service Management (CSM) or Professional Services Delivery Suite (PSDS) portal.
- Click on the "Projects" tab to view a list of all the projects that are associated with your account.
- You can click on a specific project to view more details about it, such as the project description, status, and timeline.
- If you have been granted the necessary permissions, you can also update the project information directly from the portal, such as adding comments or attachments.
To update the portal to include the ability for customers to view and update their projects, you will need to configure the portal to display the necessary information and provide the appropriate access controls. Here are the general steps:
- Create a portal page or modify an existing one to include the "Projects" tab.
- Configure the portal to display the list of projects associated with the customer's account.
- Configure the portal to allow customers to view and update project information based on their assigned roles and permissions.
There are several ways to configure the portal in ServiceNow, so it's best to consult the official documentation or seek assistance from a ServiceNow administrator or consultant to ensure that the portal is set up correctly and securely.

Can customer projects be in the Strategic Planning Workspace? And if yes, how do you add them? I have tried and failed.

@Tiffany Toper I'm looking at this today, where did you fall short? My best guess so far is that we have to create a new planning item table specifically for customer projects, then modify the integration mapping to map that planning item to the customer_project table.
I tried putting customer projects in a portfolio, then making a portfolio-based lens on the SPW, but the customer projects didn't show up.

We use the Washington version of Service Now to manage projects. How do I know if we have the CPM or SPM? Currently, we open our specific project, as PM's, and edit the necessary information through the details/resource/planning/financials consuls. We cannot share our project plans either internally or externally unless we export through Excel, which is very inefficient. That creates a snapshot in time and can be extinct as soon as it is sent. Is there a way around this?
Also, copying an pasting within the project plan is not allowed, unless I am missing something. Any hints?
Thank you!
