This is my very first article and hoping it to be informative and helpful.
I have been asked this question many times in my current capacity, and I think it's definitely a good-to-know option on HOW TO EXPORT DATA FROM RELATED LISTS.
Whenever you are on any project record related lists tab, you may need to export this data directly for ad-hoc insights and reporting. However, unlike the list view, you don't find the export option when you click on any col header and it's frustrating.
Follow these simple steps in order to export the data from the Related List tabs -
1. Right-click on the parent table hyperlink and then click Open new window
2. In the new window that opens >> Click on any Col header and then select Export. You can choose the format in which you wish to export the data.
The above option is purely from an end-user perspective. If there are other ways we can achieve this, please do comment so that it can be included as well.
Please do comment if you found this article to be helpful.

Thanks! I have been trying to figure out why there is no out of box export for project tasks. This is a huge help and very simple.

Thanks Dhiren. Very helpful. There is another way to do it that I've been using, but yours is much better and easier! But, FYI, here's how I have been doing it...
1. Right-click on any column-heading in the related list. Even without admin access, the Configure option should be available. Select Business Rules.
2. The content of the resulting list isn't relevant but, up at the top in the filter, it will identify the table name e.g. "Table = pm_project_task".
3. In the main nav, type the table name followed by ".list" e.g. "pm_project_task.list".
4. Apply filters to only show what you need (typically you'll want to apply the same filters from the original related-list view).
5. The Export option is now available on any column-heading.
The end result is the same as your solution. You just got there in far less steps. Thank you!
BTW, either of our approaches allows you to drag the resulting list view to favorites for future use. I have favorites, for example, that show all project tasks assigned to me across all projects or, even more powerful, all tasks assigned to me, regardless of type ("task.list") or a list-view of ideas ("idea.list") which, for some reason, ServiceNow removed in later versions.

Is there a solution for workspaces? The IT remediation workspace in the vulnerability response module specifically but a workaround should work for any workspace.

Hi,
I believe the "Export" option on the Related Lists (advanced view and workspace) should be available out-of-the-box (OOB) in ServiceNow. I have submitted an idea requesting this feature. If you also think this should be available OOB in ServiceNow, please vote on this idea.
Thanks
