Introducing RIDAC by Type
If you manage projects in Project Workspace, you know RIDAC - your Risks, Issues, Decisions, Actions, and Change Requests, all in one place. Until now, that "one place" was a single flat grid (now called All RIDAC) with every record type stacked together. RIDAC by Type changes that.
Why We Built This
We heard a consistent theme in your feedback: the grid view worked as a list, but not as a working list. As projects grew, navigating and managing different RIDAC record types in a single grid became increasingly challenging.
RIDAC by Type addresses these challenges by providing a more intuitive and flexible way to work with your RIDAC records, while preserving access to the familiar combined view (All RIDAC) whenever it's needed.
What's New
RIDAC by Type gives each record type its own tab, shown as a clean presentation list instead of a dense grid:
-
Risks
-
Issues
-
Decisions
-
Actions
-
Change Requests
Pick a tab to focus on a single record type - making it easier to scan, filter, personalize, and manage your records. You can also edit records inline directly from the list, so you can quickly review and update multiple items without opening each record one by one. The original combined view is still a click away under All RIDAC whenever you want everything in a single table.
Where to Find It
-
Open Project Workspace and select your project.

-
-
Select RIDAC by Type and switch between the type tabs to focus on one record type at a time.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is RIDAC by Type?
Ans: RIDAC by Type is the enhanced RIDAC experience in Project Workspace. Instead of one flat grid, each record type (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Actions, and Change Requests) gets its own tab as a cleaner, more flexible list.
2. What happened to the old RIDAC view?
Ans: The original RIDAC view is still available and is now called All RIDAC. You can switch to it anytime to view all record types in a single table. If needed, administrators can disable the All RIDAC grid using the sn_pw.disable_ridac_monitor system property.
3. Do I need to do anything to enable RIDAC by Type?
Ans: No. RIDAC by Type is available automatically under the RIDAC menu in Project Workspace.
4. Is my data affected?
Ans: No. RIDAC by Type displays the same records as before. It simply provides a better way to view and manage them. No records are moved, modified, or deleted.
5. What is the AI-Identified Risks menu?
Ans: AI-Identified Risks is a dedicated space where AI proactively surfaces draft risks worth your attention. These AI-generated draft risks are kept separate from your confirmed RIDAC records, allowing you to review and decide which ones should be added to your project. Learn more about AI Identified Risks
