access on reports which column is dot-walk

Hi community,

Need your insights. I have a report for example on Project table, columns on the reports are the columns from Demand table which is dot-walk.
These users only have write access to Demand table and they only have read-only access on Project table.
On this case, they only have read access on the report, which we want them to be editable. Is this affects their access as this report data source is Project table? Tia.

What is the reason that the reports are not done on dmn_demand, given it uses data from this table? You can dot-walk to Project from Demand and you might be able to pull some data like that. If you could clarify which are the exact roles you're referring that might help 🙂

 

also, please advise which reporting functionality you're using - is it the Classic one or Platform Analytics?
