add field to LIST LAYOUT

Hi Team,

This is regarding the one concern that I want to cross check : 

I want to add one field in a list view via list layout. But While I am doing that I am receiving the below message on the tool.
"You have personalized this list with the list mechanic.You will not see changes made here until your personal list is reset to column defaults."

I am doing the changes for the field that I want to see in a list view but after saving the record nothing is happening.

According to this above message on the tool .To save the changes and add a field in  a list view If I am going to click on the "reset to column default" , will this impact to any existing view of any other user in the tool? if I will reset to column default ? 

If I will reset to column default , will that be captured in my update set ?

Pls let me know how can I add my field in the list view if I am receiving this message on the tool without impacting any other existing view or changes..

Hello,

To see the changes you need to click on the gear icon in the list

And click on rest to Column defaults:-

You will see your changes.

Hi Rahul! 

Whatever changes you will make to the list layout via the configure list layout, that will be captured in an update set.

Whatever changes you make via the personalised list, that will only be reflected for you and will not be captured in an update set and/or will affect the view for any other user.
