What determines a project to report on timecard and some not: i have an issue where timecard cannot be submitted on project task and vice versa, how do i ensure this is set to project and project task?

Hi @Fuki,

This is available ootb at the Preferences tab in the classic Project form

And Preferences in the Details page in the Project Workspace:

There is no write access control out-of-the-box for the 'Allow time card reporting on' field. However, you may have an access control in your instance preventing you to edit it.

@Luis Ataide Do you recommend we make that field read only, or editable (allow users to change what they would like to report on)?

Hi @Fuki,

There is no right or wrong answer for this question because it depends on your organisation's process and controls about time tracking.

If there is no clear requirement to restrict it, then I would suggest to keep the out-of-the-box behaviour (allow user to change).
