Assign Skills to HR users and group

Cloud Dimensions wants to utilize skills when routing HR cases. When a case is assigned to a group and needs a particular skill, the system will look in the group to find who has that skill, then automatically assign the Case to that person. The recommended practice is to assign a skill to a group so that all group members inherit it. However, in some cases, Skills should be granted to individual users. The Product Documentation gives a full list of the skills in the base instance, but more may be added.

  • Create a new skill called Travel Advance and assign it to Rebekah Lindboe
  • Confirm that the Payroll skill is assigned to the HR Payroll group

Finally, confirm that even though Rebekah Lindboe is a member of the HR Payroll group, the group has not been granted the Travel Advance skill

Please check for HR Assignments Rule which helps to auto sign the hr case based on set of condition user/group will be assigned to case. 

 

 

in the above mentioned points:

  • Create a new skill called Travel Advance and assign it to Rebekah Lindboe--->>> Using mange hr skill create new skill and assigned to this user.
  • Confirm that the Payroll skill is assigned to the HR Payroll group--->Add skill in related tab of group

 

Case 1

  1. Navigate Manage HR Skills:

  2. Create Travel Advance

  3. Assign Skill to Users: Rebekah Lindboe-

Case 2

  • Navigate to Groups.

    Select a Group: HR Payroll

     assign the skill to. in the related tab section
