Hello,
is it possible to change the task type from a sub-project into a project-task in the same parent-project? How? 🙂
(Vancouver Version)
Thank you!

Hi @Vera1707 ,
Thanks for contacting the community.
Certainly this is possible using the New Project Workspace (in Vancouver release).
For easy understanding, I have created a video.
Hope this answers the query and if it does, please mark the response as correct.
Happy SPM Learning.
Thank You!

Hi @Vera1707 ,
It is same for SPM standard and SPM Pro.
Thanks for sharing the screenshot. I noticed that you are using the legacy project workspace.
To get the new functionality, you need to install the Project Workspace plugin. This plugin was first released in February 2022 as a store release.
For your convenience, I have also attached the project workspace release notes.
Please install new project workspace from the store.
Please mark the response as correct to help me and others in this community.
Thanks,
Namita Mishra

Hi @Namita Mishra and thank you for the great video! 😍
This is very helpful, but I think the planning console is different in the standard plan than in the pro plan? I do not have the opportunity to mark the tasks in checkboxes like you do an shift them that easy into the new order.
We will get the Pro Plan at the end of this year, but is there a Solution for the standard plan planning console?

Hi @Namita Mishra, thank you for the great video 😍 It helped a lot.
Is ist possible, that the planning console in the standard plan looks different than in die professional plan? I do not habe the possibility to mark the tasks to drag and drop them in the new hierarchy.
Is there a way in the standard plan?
