Change Gantt bar colours in new "Project Workspace"

Is there any way to customize / configure the colours used when drawing the Gantt bars in the new UI "Project Workspace" Gantt?

I see two use cases that I would like to be able to cover:

a) Colour the bars dependent on some property of the task. E.g. a task category, type, assignment group, whatever. This can be useful to provide a fast overview of the project plans (e.g. this is used in automotive settings, where certain colours relate to certain types of activity).

b) Disable the colour-cycling through the pastelly colours, which might not be desired by all customers, or replace with a custom colour set (the pastel colours look a bit childish to me, tbh).

Use case a is more important than use case b.

Appreciate the input,

Daniel

Hello @dileepsingiredd , @Lillian , @Namita Mishra  could you please confirm if the coloring of the gant chart task will be configurable and potential timelines when this feature will be available?
Additionally would you please confirm the logic on how different colours are set to the tasks (what each colour mean)?

It would be also beneficial to have this explained in the SN Docs in the Project Workspace Planning section.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,

Any update on this topic? I see this is required from the clients and developers. On our gantt charts, the situation is worse... all bar charts are with the same color.

Hello @dileepsingiredd , @Lillian
I we have a same requirement from our customer. The current colours are confusing for them and the requirement would be
a) be able to configure the colour that are used and when (e.g. based on some attribute  for example type of task, vendor assigned to the task or simmilar)

b) if not possible to configure it, then preference would be get rid of the colours and keep it simple, i.e. one colour.

Could you please advise if there are any plans to provide the option to confgure it and if this is not yet ready, advise whether the colours can now be somehow 'deactivated'?
as well if you could provide an a guidance on what each colour mean?

Thank you in advance
