Hi,
At the recent Knowledge conference, I heard of a new feature described as a confidential project flag that would allow an admin to limit the visibility of a project to a specific set of users (not necessarily role-based).
It was introduced as a brand new feature included in "the May store release", but I can't seem to find it in-system or in any release notes for project-related plugins. I've also searched for additional plugins we may be missing but came up with nothing that seemed relevant.
Is this a real ServiceNow-developed feature available now? Does anyone know where to find it and how to turn it on?
Thanks.

Hi @Grant9
I’ve not heard about the confidential flag however I did find this which insinuates it’s part of the GRC Package. Configure confidentiality record
If this isn’t an app you have I’ve created a similar solution to limit the visibility of NDA restricted records using access controls and business rules… It’s a chunky piece of work but happy to share the logic.
Thanks

Hello @Grant9 !
It is now possible to directly configure security in a Project and make it confidential. This ensures that only authorized users can access the Project and its sub-Projects or related entities. It also allows you to make sensitive Projects visible and accessible only to specified users and groups.
To enable this feature, you need to install the "Project Advanced Security" (id: com.snc.project_advanced_security) plugin. Then, open a Project from the planning page of Project Workspace and click on the "Details" page. Scroll down and you should locate the "Confidential" option:
Please consider marking my answer as helpful and accepting it as the solution if it assisted you in any way.

I've read the docs pages, but I can't seem to find this Project Advanced Security plugin in either the plugins manager or the store. Anyone have a direct link?
EDIT: Never mind - it's because this is only available in Yokohama; we're still in Xanadu. Upgrading this month, so I just have to be patient.
