Copy Active Project Including Resources

Hi All,
Is there a way to Copy an Active Project (Non Template) and carry over the Resources as well. I would say not as this would need to go through the RM process of requesting a resource. Not sure if this functionality is OOTB a script will need to be created.

You already gave the answer: no. It does not exist, nor should you want to create it yourself. Resources are assigned to projects, based on availability, approval, etc. So copying a project can never include the resources, since those resources are already allocated to the source project.
What is your business case to even want to do this? It's absolutely not how the system is designed, or how business logic should work.

Thank you for your response. I understand your point regarding how resources are allocated and the system's design principles. My intent was to explore whether there might be a way to streamline project setup when similar resource structures are involved, even if direct copying isn't supported.
I appreciate the clarification. If there's a recommended alternative or best practice for replicating project setups efficiently. We are new to the system and our previous PPM application allowed this. Reached out to the community for support and guidance.
