For Resource Assignments, I have added 4 custom planning attributes (Department, Employee Type, External Type, and Onshore/Offshore).
I have the followed this link to have the attributes show up in Resource Management Workspace.
- Configure Script Includes with a custom planning attribute
- Configure RMWorkspaceService
- Add in the _getGroupByConfig
- Configure RMWorkspaceDataFetch
- Configure RMWorkspaceGroupByUtils
In Resource Management Workspace, the Group By: appears to work correctly on the Resource Cards. I can select each, and the screen changes to include those attributes.
In Resource Management Workspace, in the Overview Dashboard, it only shows the 3 "Primary" Planning Attributes (Group, Role and Skill).
See attached.
How do I get my 4 custom Planning Attributes to show on the Overview Dashboard?

Hi @RonS , how familiar are you with the new Platform Analytics functionality? That dashboard is called the 'Overview Dashboard', and you can see and configure it in Platform Analytics to have additional filters, functionality and logic.
Head to the Platform Analytics > Library > Dashboards module, and search in the list of dashboards for 'Overview Dashboard'. You should be able to make your changes there.

We have not installed Platform Analytics in our test instance I am working in. However, it has been installed in other test instances and will be installing into Prod soon.
I have edited inside Resource Management Workspace, I am just unable to save it to the library, which means it only will show for me, not the enterprise. But I think you got me on the right track. Thank you!
