While creating a new report to track the efforts spent for each demand, the report generated cannot be extracted in excel/csv, only available in pdf, is there an option to enable the excel export?

Refer: Actual cost and effort calculation for a demand and demand task 

In our client instance we have custom point field in demand ( also it has OOB size field) ,where we store estimated effort for each demand .

and in demand story level , we track actual effort.
