Default Methodology in sn_align_core_scrum_epic Defaults to Scrum Instead of SAFe

Hi All,
In our current SPM–SPW integration, I’ve noticed that when an Epic is created in rm_epic and a corresponding record is generated in sn_align_core_scrum_epic, the methodology field is defaulting to Scrum. However, our business requirement is to default this field to SAFe.

On investigation, I found:

• There is a Business Rule that creates a sys_user_preference (sn_align_core.epic.methodology) and sets it to Scrum for users, which seems to override other default settings.
• The dictionary default for the methodology field is set to SAFe.
• Integration scripts seem to be passing control to the Business Rule.

Questions:

• Has anyone dealt with this issue before?
• Is there a recommended approach to ensure the methodology field defaults to SAFe, especially across all users, regardless of pre-existing user preferences?
