Demand & Enhancement

Hi all,

I found that an enhancement "Allows planning and tracking new improvement opportunities for existing applications or products", then I wonder which is the difference with Improvement Initiative in Continual Improvement Management?

Can you please provide use cases? Because they seem the same to me.

Many thanks!

Hi @Tommaso2,

An enhancement typically refers to a capability or feature that enables teams to plan and track improvement opportunities for existing applications or products.

As where the Improvement Initiative in CIM is more a structured framework for driving continuous service or process improvement across the organization.

Think of the enhancement feature as a toolbox for making upgrades, while CIM’s Improvement Initiatives are like blueprints for transforming how the whole company functions.
If you’re looking to improve a specific product feature, enhancements might be enough. But if you want to elevate service delivery or operational excellence across the board, CIM is your go-to.
