Difference between the REQ, RITM, SCTASK, TASK? Need to know the Flow of these creations. Decribe briefly about the relationships between them? Which one is parent table and which one is the child table? Any kind of help will be appreciable

Difference between the REQ, RITM, SCTASK, TASK?
Need to know the Flow of these creations. Decribe briefly about the relationships between them?
Which one is parent table and which one is the child table?

I am sorry but the separation for RITM and SCTask tickets causes nothing but problems. User can only update the RITM, that info does not come over to SCTask and it does not send a notification to people assigned the SCTask. No. it just further complicates things.
Best i can figure is that Service now and all of the ITIL framework is something to make managers feel good with pretty reports that make it where they can pass the buck more easily.
Maybe it is the way it is configured here, or at the last place i used service now, or a few places where i have been the one being supported, but I have never seen an instance of Service now that was friendly or even advantageous in some way to the people using it.
