Financial Planning tab missing in Scenario Planning (Strategic Planning Workspace)

Strategic Planning Workspace. In Scenario Planning, I do not see the Financial Planning tab option when creating a scenario.

Steps I have taken so far

  1. Set sn_invst_pln.enable_budget_allocation_v2 to true. Default value – ‘true’
  2. Set sn_invst_pln.budget_allocation_attribute to either expense_type or cost_type.Default value – ‘expense_type’. These settings apply at the instance level and affect all users.
  3. Run the scheduled job: Data generation for financials in SPW/PPW

Hello,

When you are creating the portfolio plan, you need to ensure that you are using a Fiscal calendar rather than a Gregorian one.

Hi @makmishra If you have 'financials' tab on the live portfolio plan but not seeing the financials tab in the scenario, I would recommend trying the below two additional checks:

1. Creating a new scenario instead of opening an existing scenario created before the application upgrade to the latest version

2. If the instance has existing projects before 'sn_invst_pln.enable_budget_allocation_v2' property is set to 'true', the demands and projects in the portfolio plan you are using should be migrated to new budget data model using 'migrate budget' link or 'Migrate budget for active demands and projects ' scheduled job.
