Guidance on Investment Funding and Linking Demands in ServiceNow SPM

Dear All,

I am seeking clarification on a few points related to Investment Funding in ServiceNow SPM:

  1. Who is responsible for adding the top-level investment funding budget?
  2. Is it possible to increase the budget for an existing investment? If so, who has the authority to approve or make this change (e.g., Portfolio Manager, Finance Analyst)?
  3. Who is responsible for allocating the budget—is it the Portfolio Manager or the Demand Manager?
  4. Can a demand be linked to an investment? If yes, what are the recommended steps to achieve this? Currently, I do not see the Investment field available in the Demand table.

Any best practices, configuration guidance, or documentation references would be greatly appreciated.
