HELP!! Need to add custom field on idea portal

Hi

I have been asked to add some custom fields on the idea portal. I am used to dealing with record producers, where I add the custom field and variable and then map them.

How can I add custom fields on the create idea page? I am thinking this must be a common practice so there would be an easy way to do this?

Unfortunately, it appears that you need to clone/edit the "IM Create/Edit Idea" widget.

I would recommend just creating your own record producer instead and use that.
