How do initiatives in SPM relate to strategic priorities and goals?

Hi All,

I would like to better understand how initiatives in SPM relate to strategic priorities and goals.

I understand that we can establish the following relationship:

Strategic Plans → Strategic Priorities → Goals → Targets

Where do Initiatives fit within this hierarchy? Can initiatives be linked in the following way?

Strategic Plans → Strategic Priorities → Initiatives → Goals → Targets

If so, how does this relationship work within SPM?
