How to configure the Functional currency field?

Client Need: Financial reports must be submitted in MXN, even if the projects are in USD or other currencies.
I noticed that I need to change the Functional Currency field to MXN. My user is located in Mexico. However, I can't get the currency to change in the Functional Currency field.

May you try check the Company record

• Navigate to the Company table (core_company)
• Ensure the Default Functional Currency is set to MXN for the company your project belongs to.

The Functional Currency is tied to the system reference (or base) currency, driven by the instance locale and is essentially informational (read only) on the Cost Plan form, meaning you can’t change it per project to MXN just because a user is in Mexico; instead, you use the Entered Currency field (or the multi currency feature) to input amounts in a different currency, and the system converts them internally to the functional currency...

Thank you very much for your response; I truly appreciate your support.

However, I still haven't been able to fully make the change. The solution I was able to achieve was to create a "Project Currency" view, for example. With the help of the Multicurrency plugin, I was able to visualize the amounts in the currency of the project or demand.

What I still haven't been able to do is change the financial baseline report. It continues to break down the information using the functional currency (USD), and it doesn't display the values in the project's currency.

In this project workbench, you can click on configure column from the side panel and scroll down to the breakdown column and bring columns for project currency like cost in project currency / actual cost in project currency, etc. This project currency columns are the mane fields that store the converted value from the entered currency.
