Hi everyone,
We are trying to configure the global search in Unified Navigation so that when a user searches for a Project (pm_project) while inside the Project Workspace (SPM), clicking the search result card opens the project within the workspace tab rather than redirecting to the classic platform UI (pm_project.do).
What we have done so far:
1. Created a new Search Application Configuration (sys_search_context_config) pointing to our AI Search profile.
2. Created a new Workspace Global Search Configuration (sys_aw_global_search_config) and linked it to the Search Application.
3. Updated the UX App Configuration for the Project Workspace by passing the sys_id of the Global Search Configuration into the globalSearchViewConfigId JSON property.
4. Reviewed the Experience Settings, but the search bar in the Unified Navigation header continues to route clicked projects to the global UI.
The Issue:
The search successfully finds the projects, but we are missing the configuration required to route the result directly into the workspace layout.
Question:
How can we configure the search in Project Workspace rather than global, so that clicking a project result opens it directly inside the workspace?
